I’m a Packer fan, and I’m still pissed about all of this bullshit. Its hard for me to not support them this year after all the years of ridin with them. Wha can I say, I’m loyal like that.

I wish them well this year, but I don’t expect them to do squat! I guess I have to go back to being a Bufallo Bills fan. Yeah, I think I’m over their 4 in a row Super Bowl loss streak from the 90’s.

Brett is still the man and I wish him well. Especially since the two top QB’s in the AFC (Manning & Brady) are coming into the season injured, and post surgery.

Ladies, ladies. I love you…I really do. Mainly because you watch and enjoy football. Secondly because your responses are sooo cute! This is Brett Favre…FAV RE! I do agree with your points about moving on, and keeping your word. For any other player…even a great player I would agree with you. But certain players…like a Barry Sanders or Joe Montana receive certain privileges. For the record, if I was the man making decisions I would’ve told him to kiss my ass too for holding the team hostage when he first said he wanted to come back…but followed shortly by “see you Monday!” I think he has a right to be upset at how it went down after playing 16 years without missing a game. Also for the record….I’m taking the 20 mil and staying hizome!

And I agree with you AO the Pack could’ve handled this quietly and now they will be remembered as the team that traded Brett Favre.

If it’s true that the Packers forced Favre to retire in the first place, then this entire circus is entirely their fault, not Favre’s. And props to Favre for the chess match, niice.

Yea I agree with Silkie, he said he was finished and he didn’t live up to that so why should the Packers honor anything they had with him? Granted he’s one of the best (which is hard for me to say cuz i don’t really like him) but come on? What happened to that old saying “your word is your bond”…Some of these guys just don’t know when to call it quits. I understand he’ll miss the game and all but man you had how many years of it already? All great things must come to an end and if he really loved the packers like he claimed he did, he would let them move on and start anew and he’d be on a golf course or on a boat fishing…BUT NOOooooo he wants to bish and moan..I agree with what the Packers did, Brett was the past and Aarron is the future. He is the only one i feel sorry for in all of this.

And all this futher cements my hypothsis, great athletes are the biggest narcissist ever!

Ok, I like watching football - I get it - but I don’t get into the players and their stats, but I MUST comment on this man right here!!
This man new that he wasn’t ready to retire when he did it (can someone shed some light on why he even went there), and when he came back he got his face played and you know what - HIS ASS SHOULD HAVE!!!!!

Favre, you may be good, but you were the one who chose to throw the towel in. Um, if I was the one coming up after you left - HELL TO THE NO, I wouldn’t want you coming back. Your time is up pimpin’!

Quit cryin’ and go take a seat on the bench - in the park!!!!!!
