Happy Friday.  Welcome back to another edition of the Ladie’s Poll.

To our lovely lady readers — I think I can speak for all of the Merchants when I say we don’t think you should be faking the big “O”.  You’re cheating yourself and letting some guy think his lame performance was something other than what it really was.  But we understand that sometimes the situation calls for it.  He’s wack, you’re tired…it’s time to put an end to the nonsense.  So here is today’s question:

  1. 2 things, people lie on polls…just a fact. Women “SAY” they will date out they race. This is true, if on their ID forms they put anything besides “Black” on there. Black women aren’t doing that sh*t except the 5 percenters, they will because 5 percenters are random like that.

    Now, as far as this poll is concerned. Its the same question over and over, but let me ask you this…would a woman fake it if she didn’t LOVE the man? I mean as guys there are moments when we nut up and get 2-3 minutes in, and there are moments when you just might not be on your A-game. Now, I AM NOT CONDONING faking, but I do feel an under-lining in this matter, because if you were just with some random (ladies, hope he’s not random) dude then you’d probably give a screw face and get the hell outta dodge.

    Just my 2 cents. Good post fam!

  2. This is really a complex question. A little over 30% of women have never had an orgasm…what are they to do? Then like EtheSF mentioned you love this person and don’t want to make them feel bad.

    But…you’re right Preston. You are doing everyone around a dis-service if you’re faking it. He thinks he’s doing great and doesn’t need to try anything new or work harder and she gets continually frustrated and resentful.

    I also think this goes back to our youth. Men aren’t taught HOW the female body works. Women aren’t taught much either. We learn that sex is part of keeping our man happy but not that it can be enjoyable for us as well nor how we can make it enjoyable.

    Most women do not feel comfortable enough with their sexuality to make suggestions to their partners. They think they are supposed to be happy with what he’s doing. And guys…how many of you aren’t going to feel inadequate if she reaches for a toy to help her along?! You shouldn’t btw.

  3. I don’t fake it. Either I have one or I don’t. I hear what ED is saying though. I think some women fake it because they don’t want to offend the dude. Does that make it right? No. But I guess I understand. I just don’t see the point in faking it. Why make him think he rocked my world when he didn’t? I don’t have time. Truth be told…you fake it, he thinks it real and that he’s doing something…and then he ends up getting off on it…SHM…nah definitely not faking it. I mean i understand that he’s gonna get a nut off anyway but you won’t be getting any extras on my account boo. And I’m not mad at you. Better luck next time…if there is one.

  4. I try not to fake because I need him to know what pleases me. I’ve had an O so I know what one feels like, and I require more. Often. I’m not sexually active outside of relationships so faking an O with my guy would hurt me.

  5. ED — Very good points. Whether or not you’re in a relationship would drastically affect the results here. We allow you to vote anonymously, so hopefully that encourages honesty. I mean damn…if you’re lying even when no one knows who you are…you may want to seek help for that.
